Did I say how much I hate my commute?

The thing is, even on a good day, it’s 45 mins. But today with few cars on the road, still wound up being 1:20. Why? Snow. A street was shut down, diverting traffic. People driving slow. Add this to the two hours I spent getting home last night.

Watching Beachwood Reporter’s liveblog. Can’t wait to see who else gets dragged down. Mell? And to echo what everyone else has said, he has to [...]

Retrocity

Heard them yesterday on CBC Radio 1’s Ontario Today show. Great a capella rendition of Toto’s Africa. Listen to it on their MySpace page.

Thailand and Canada

So, the Thais occupying the airport, the so-called People’s Alliance for Democracy, are not in fact for a democracy but for scrapping the electoral system, to be replaced by an elite among Thai society to appoint people to government. And they’re threatened by the populism of rural Thailand embodied by the current government.
In Canada, the [...]

Gun control is two hands on your weapon

Look what happens when you put a MicroUzi, an automatic weapon that can unleash 1700 rounds a minute, in the hands of an 8 year old. Frankly I don’t know if I could even control a weapon that small.
