Chicago ain’t ready for reform?

Can’t say I’m surprised, politically motivated hiring still happens all the time. You think this stuff doesn’t matter to you? It costs you, Chicagoans and Cook County residents. That’s the kind of so-called “affirmative action” we don’t need, because if people are hired on the basis of patronage, and are not the most qualified staff, that makes the city less efficient and more expensive to run. These people incur liabilities which wind up costing taxpayers millions of dollars, which is passed on to us in the form of higher taxes. It undermines our city, our county, and the security of our six collar county neighbors. We have enough rotten fruit in the city, here, and here and here and here. Garbage in human shapes.

“If you aren’t outraged, you’re not paying attention.”
