Gene Moy (梅忠毅) says, "Git 'er done!" More about Gene »
Last weekend, the Mrs and I escaped northwest to Minneapolis where we attended a performance of Prairie Home Companion, in fact, this particular broadcast:
If you listen carefully there is someone dying of tuberculosis in the audience and that person was sitting next to me, rest his soul.
We lived well in Minneapolis, thanks to the benefits of constant consulting travel. We also ate surprisingly well, even heartily, as only Minnesotans can, including many helpings of wild rice, which seems to be liberally included with every meal, including breakfast, and several helpings of the equally ubiquitous walleye, which seems to be a kind of local pike fish. All things considering, we had a pretty darn good time, in part because the value was very good. Minneapolis in the winter is a great time to visit, it seems.
