Christmas is in the heart

I was having a conversation with a few people lately on the run up to the holidays and it seems like very few of us feel it, really feel it lately. It just seemed like yesterday that Halloween was here and all of a sudden now we’re cooking for 20 again. Where did the year go, what have we done and how do we take stock of it all? Christmas really was a pagan holiday to mark the turning away of the darkness and the beginning of the cycle of light. Even though there have been sad events lately I really think that this next year is a year of new beginnings for a lot of possibilities.

I’m thinking about you all this holiday season. Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to everyone, everywhere.
