What is this “come to Jesus meeting”?

I keep hearing this phrase recently at clients and at the home office, where I am at this week. It is the “Come to Jesus meeting.” Which is what exactly? Well, a Google search reveals the truth: the “Come to Jesus Meeting” defined. It reminds me of the phrase, “drank the kool aid,” which got a lot of play in the dotcom era. Good times.
