Sorry, on hiatus

You’ll have noticed we’re kind of on summer hiatus around this blog.

What’s going on? Will to blog has been sucked away due to the will to work, or pretty much so anyway. Dueling multiple interaction design and persona research/writing projects but it’s a project that’s seen me as part creative director as well, so, I’m eating some hours (okay, a bundle of hours) on this to get the job done right. I don’t mind the occasional push, but my worry is if someone comes back from the sales force and says, “Hey, we did a great job with such few hours, can you do this again?” I will probably have to leave a note in the project file saying that this was an extraordinary act of philia (as opposed to eros or agape).

Also I’m collaborating on a small book with some historical society folks that we’re trying to wrap up by November, but that means a first draft in less than two weeks. Don’t even ask me about kung fu. And I think after these projects wrap I’d like to take a few weeks off but maybe that means not going anywhere, as much as I would like to, and just hunkering down at home so I can get the house cleaned out, clothes and other stuff donated, windows or bath redone. You know. The usual things normal regular people do. . . .
